I should probably complain to Kaiji Kawaguchi, but I can't help but feel that the scenario is just too unrealistic. It goes beyond what I can dismiss as fiction, and I couldn't stop mentally critiquing it.

However, I think I would have enjoyed it if I were in middle school. I felt the CGI had made progress, and the visuals were quite elaborate. My honest impression is that this is probably the limit for doing military-themed content in Japan at this point.

The fact that this is the limit for military-themed works can be seen as a symbol of how Japan, with its minimal contact with the military, has enjoyed a peaceful era.
