Tyrone has worked as a casting director, stage manager, light board operator and dresser. In NY he has worked at the Vineyard Theatre, Second Stage, NYSF, The Signature Theatre, and New York Theatre Workshop. For the past 20 years he has also worked in various reputable regional theatres across the country. He has worked with Directors George C. Wolfe, Kenny Leon, Kwame Kwai Armah, James Lapine, Susan Stroman, Scott Ellis, and many more. He got his Equity Card working as Paul in Six Degrees of Separation at Seattle Rep. Among his most cherished jobs are Belize in Angels in America for which he received the Leon Rabin award, 39 Steps, as the first African American to play one of the Clowns, The Tempest, starring Patrick Stewart, The West Coast premier of Tony Kushner's Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a key to the Scriptures, and King Lear as Gloucester with Tony Winner Billy Porter.
