The Mistress 6

Writer-director-cameraman Mike Quasar does a fine job in this edition of the popular Sweet Sinner "The Mistress" series, creating a solid Couples Romance with a very satisfying surprise ending.

All three leading ladies play mistresses, but in a continuous single story instead of separate vignettes. In a NonSex role, Julia Ann's acting is mighty fine as she portrays Derrick Pierce's husband, who walks out on him after six marriages after discovering he's been cheating -to open the movie. She also narrates with useful voice-over.

Story picks up three years later with Derrick happily married to the woman who was his mistress, a nice turn by Lexi Stone. They live in the "Immoral Proposal" mansion, which is also used to represent where he works, which is definitely not at home (but fans not familiar with the interior look of this famous shooting site won't be confused).

He cheats with his son Tyler Cruise's very lovely (and tall) girlfriend Kay Lovely. Meanwhile, his buddy Ryan McLane is cheating on his wife Freya Parker, who wants to marry him but he's stalling on getting a divorce. The sex for all of them is hot, especially Kay in two solid scenes, the second one verging on gonzo (other sex scenes are all romantic, per the label's trademark for content).

Quasar's writing is concise and extremely effective, especially in setting up the ironic ending.
