Based on Vocaloid songs from "Kokuhaku Jikko Iinkai ~Renai Series~" by HoneyWorks, the movie is the second film based on the songs, following Tetsuya Yanagisawa's previous anime, "Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita".
