Set in in suburban Los Angeles, "Life is Nice..." is a comedic post, post-modern tale of love, friendship, perhaps boredom and a girl. A wacky surreal world where nothing is what it seems. While following their often humorousadventures, the film explores the relationship between two old friends, Josh (Forest), and Silo (Mike Dytri), as they try to find the meaning in their quite often meaningless existence. The film'spivotal character is Clara (Kia Collin), Josh's Domineering and often manipulative girlfriend. As Clara plays the emotions of the two friends against each other, they discover just what their friendship is made of & what a girlfriend is or isn't.

These are the highs and lows of a young Los Angeles-area artist...stemming particularly from his romances, drugs and his craft.

SET AGAINST THE EXOTIC BEAUTY AND ANCIENT CULTURE OF CAMBODIA, TWO YOUNG GIRLS, PIM AND CHAMRON, EMBARK UPON A JOURNEY OF YEARNING IN SEARCH OF THE FAMILY THEY NEVER HAD. ALONE AND AGAINST THE WORLD THEY MEET KITH, AN OLDER BOY. KITH TAKES THEM UNDER HIS WING, SHOWING THEM HOW TO SURVIVE AS THE THREE TRAVEL ONWARD TO THE SEA. SLOWLY PIM AND KITH FALL FOR EACH OTHER, DISCOVERING THE LOVE FOR WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN SEARCHING. ALTHOUGH MANY OF THE ISSUES IN THE FILM HAVE A HEAVY TONE, THERE IS AN OVERWHELMING SENSE OF HUMOUR AND HAPPINESS, REFLECTIVE OF CAMBODIANS' LOVE FOR LIFE. THE FILM EXPLORES OUR YEARNING TO BE RESPECTED, APPRECIATED AND LOVED, TO FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL TAKE YOU IN THEIR ARMS AND HOLD ON TO FOREVER.

A dramatic -baby heist- action- horror- adventure -black comedic tale with a little sci-fi and a love thrown in for good measure. Poetry meets commercial on the playground of our sub conscious.
