In a desolate world Robert tries to find his abducted wife. In the ruins of the city he saves a girl from being raped. Together, they try to find some solace from the crumbling, broken world, shadowed by one the city's brutal gangs.

The story spans over 70 years from 2013 and backwards in time to 1943. We delve into four different stories that are all connected by the bunker. In 2013 we meet a young couple and see what role the bunker has played in their lives. Then in 1993 a father and his daughter explore the bunker. In 1973 a gang of hippies use the bunker as their hangout. And a resistance soldier in 1943 is on the run from the Nazis.
