- The adventures of a family of cute, furry creatures - The Flumps. Grandpa Flump, Ma and Pa Flump, their eldest son Perkin, daughter Posie and youngest son Pootle. Each episode contains fun songs and a story from the 'Big Book'.

- It is Saturday. A pigeon is looking for Bob but he is nowhere to be seen. He is not even down at his Bike shop. Eventually the Pigeon spies him feeding his Pigeons in the back yard. Reg is not working in the park today. Both he and his wife Doreen are wearing their dancing outfits. They want to win another cup and so are practicing their ballroom moves. At first it looks as though they need a lot of practice. Daisy is feeding the pigeons on her window box, but they are soon frightened off by Rose who does not like pigeons. Dr Glossop has a day off and is busy doing some decorating. Mrs Glossop is making some jam. Polly and Molly are helping their mum with the jam jars when they spy Gerald's tropical fish who does not look well at all. Gerald has gone to Mr Macadoo's pet shop to get some medicine. Mr Baskerville is also keen to go and see Mr Macadoo and his dog Watson is a bit under the weather. He lives in Skyrise Court, a block of flats on the 13th floor. The lift is broken - what will he do. William and his mate Jim come to the rescue. They take Mr Baskerville and Watson down in the window crane. On the way they pick up other bits and bobs for other people trapped by the broken lift. Mrs Baker wants a letter posted. William decides that there is too much work to be done by only a few people so gets one of the pigeons to deliver a message to Bob. Bob gets Clara and her van and the rest of the people in Pigeon Street to help. They deliver groceries, letters, a new clock, the milk and even help a mother and baby down 11 floors.
- The three Flump children have all been given colorful balloons, but Pootle can't inflate his. He looks for a way to blow up the balloon. The Flumpet bursts the balloon, he gets another but puts too much air in and floats off.
- Pa Flump is making some roller skates for Perkin and Posie. But they are so useful for moving heavy things with, soon everyone wants to borrow them. Eventually Perkin and Posie get a pair each - but need to learn how to skate.
- Pootle and Posie are standing on their heads, Perkin comes along and shows them how to do proper exercises. All of The Flumps have ways of keeping fit - but Grandfather Flump soon wishes he hadn't tried to lift Pa's weights.
- Perkin, Posie and Pootle Flump are riding the Flumpcycle. Pootle says he could ride it all the way to the Moon. When they ask Pa how far the Moon is he tells them they would need a rocket - so they build one of cardboard tubes.
- Posie Flump is bored and wants to play but all of the other Flumps are busy doing things. When she asks what they are doing they tell her but tell her it is a secret and to 'keep it under your hat' - but Posie is not wearing a hat.
- The Flump children are bored and dream of doing something different. Ma, Pa and Grandpa all tell them stories of Flumps they wanted to be when they were younger. Eventually, the children realize that they are happy with their lot.
- Grandpa Flump is playing his Flumpet loudly, this puts Perkin in a bad mood. Ma tells Perkin to cheer up otherwise he will be 'under a Grey cloud all day'. It's true as a cloud follows Perkin everywhere - how to get rid of it?
- Pootle is making a mess in the house looking for mislaid bits and bobs. So, Ma Flump gives him a pocket to put things in. Pa Flump gives him a strong magnet but soon he is coated in metal objects and falls asleep.
