To establish guidelines for post-graduate education, serving as prerequisites for becoming a  EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology. To conduct examinations and qualify veterinarians as  EBVS® European Veterinary Specialists in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, ensuring the provision of expert care to the veterinary patient, its owner, and the general public. To foster communication and share knowledge regarding veterinary pharmacology and toxicology among veterinary peers and the wider community.

European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia

The primary objectives of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA) are: To enhance the study and practice of veterinary anaesthesia, analgesia, and intensive care in Europe through dedicated research and by bolstering the proficiency of veterinarians in these specialities. To devise guidelines and standards for postgraduate education, laying a clear path for veterinarians to achieve the title of  EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Anaesthesia and Analgesia. To manage examinations and certify veterinarians as European Veterinary Specialists in Anaesthesia, Analgesia, and Intensive Care, ensuring they uphold the highest standards of care. To promote communication, ongoing education, and the sharing of expertise in veterinary anaesthesia, analgesia, and intensive care among veterinary professionals and the broader community, emphasizing the importance of research and continuous advancements in these fields.

European Veterinary Dental College

European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC) Objectives: To foster research and elevate the proficiency of veterinarians in the art and science of veterinary dentistry. To establish guidelines for post-graduate education, guiding the pathway to becoming a  EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry. To administer examinations and certify veterinarians as EBVS® European Veterinary Specialists in Veterinary Dentistry. To advocate for communication, collaboration with national and international veterinary dental associations, and the dissemination of knowledge in veterinary dentistry.

European College of Veterinary Surgeons

European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) Objectives: To foster research and elevate the competency of veterinarians in veterinary surgery for both small and large animals across Europe. To establish guidelines for post-graduate education, paving the way to become a  EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Veterinary Surgery. To conduct examinations and certify veterinarians as  EBVS® European Veterinary Specialists in Veterinary Surgery. To promote communication and the dissemination of knowledge regarding veterinary surgery among veterinary professionals and the wider public.

University College Dublin Veterinary Hospital (UCDVH) is a leading multi-disciplinary, specialist, veterinary referral and teaching hospital located in the thriving city of Dublin in the east of Ireland, between the mountains and the sea. Small animal services include internal medicine (emergency and routine), critical care, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, oncology, anaesthesia and surgery (orthopaedics, neurosurgery, soft tissue surgery, minimally invasive techniques), as well as in-house rehabilitation and physiotherapy. We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive small animal oncologist, who is passionate about delivering clinical excellence in small animal oncology, is an excellent “team player” and has a strong interest in veterinary clinical teaching.
