TROY Frost has shared stages with Hip Hop legends and notable creators including GZA (Wu-Tang Clan), Talib Kweli, Just Blaze, Nina Sky, Staceyann Chin, Skyzoo, Landon Wordswell and STL GLD. She has performed at festivals and cultural institutions across the East Coast. Highlights include a collaborative opening set for Grandmaster Flash with Brandie Blaze, Nancia, Shellz, and Red Shaydez at Boston Art & Music Soul Festival, DJing for Janelle Monáe at Wellesley College, and serving as the resident DJ for the Boston Comics in Color Festival. A frequent collaborator, she has spent years rocking stages with many artists in Boston’s music scene.

Her range extends far beyond nightlife. TROY Frost is deeply embedded in Boston’s cultural ecosystem, DJing conferences at MIT, theatre openings at ArtsEmerson and the Huntington Theatre, mental health events with PureSpark and the Museum of Science, award ceremonies with the City of Boston, as well as activism-centered events with Planned Parenthood in New York and Washington, D.C.

She is also the co-creator of Archiving Critical Breakdown, helping preserve the history of Critical Breakdown, one of Boston’s most influential Hip Hop open mics in the early aughts. In all her work, she aims to honor Hip Hop.

Her latest project, A TROY Story, presented under her developing event series Purple Produce, uses the elements of Hip Hop to tell personal stories of healing, inner child work, and self-discovery. It reflects her belief that Hip Hop is not just a genre but a tool for wellness, reflection, and transformation.
