IMO if no one is going to parent their own kids, then you have every right to take over. At Girl Scouts the other night there was a "fun" screeching going on amongst the girls. I looked one of them in the face and said "NO, we are NOT DOING THIS" and she stopped. I then said, "Sorry if that was your kid, but THAT is not happening...." Parent when ya need to. Even if it's not your kid. That's what I think. :)
