My prayers for the King and his people, I have never been to Thailand but from all that I have read and saw on you tube, he is well respected and was an actual monarch, not a figurehead. I remembered reading in the 80's how stable Thailand was compared to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam and the communist incursion that were being defeated by the Thai Army.
