J. Scott Duvall (PhD, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) is professor of New Testament and J. C. and Mae Fuller Chair of Biblical Studies at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
J. Daniel Hays (PhD, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) is dean of the School of Christian Studies and professor of biblical studies at Ouachita Baptist University.
About the Author
J. Daniel Hays (PhD, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) is professor emeritus of biblical studies at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where he served for nearly three decades as dean of the Pruet School of Christian Studies and professor of biblical studies. He is also senior professor of Old Testament at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Hays is the author, coauthor, or editor of over a dozen books, including The Baker Illustrated Bible Background Commentary, Grasping God's Word, and The Message of the Prophets. He has also led numerous study trips to Israel and Turkey.

About the authors

Scott Duvall (Ph.D., Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Fuller Professor of New Testament at Ouachita Baptist University (Arkadelphia, Arkansas) where he teaches the NT Greek Exegesis, Life of Christ, Revelation, Spiritual Formation, and Interpreting the Bible. Scott has co-authored Grasping God's Word, Living God's Word (forthcoming), Journey into God's Word, Preaching God's Word, Dictionary of Biblical Prophecy, and Biblical Greek Exegesis. He has also written Experiencing God's Story of Life and Hope: A Workbook for Spiritual Formation.

Catherine is a native of North Carolina. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill (B.A., History), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in S. Hamilton, MA (M.A. in Old Testament, M.A. in Religion), and Harvard University (M.A. and Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations). She is currently an Associate Professor of Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, N.C. She also teaches Hebrew and Old Testament courses at Séminaire Théologique Mondelus in Milot, Haiti.
