Editorial Reviews
From Library Journal
Wesley Seminary professors Wogaman and Strong have fashioned a useful tool for the study of the development and diversity of Christian ethics. This long-overdue sourcebook contains primary readings on Christian ethics from early Christianity to the 20th century. Writings as diverse as Clement of Alexandria's "Somata," Hildegard of Bingen's "Visions," Sojourner Truth's "Ain't I a Woman," and James Cone's "A Black Theology of Liberation" indicate the huge range of ethics in theory and practice. An essential purchase for seminary libraries and a recommended purchase for most public libraries.
