A man who was found dead at a home in Ipswich suffered "significant" stabbing injuries, police say.
Emergency services were called to a unit complex on Lillian Street in Redbank Plains at about 8:40pm, where the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Russell Mark Davis, 48, wascharged with one count of murder.
Later on Friday, a 33-year-old Redbank Plains man, was also charged with one count of murder and will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Detective Superintendent George Marchesini said bladed weapons have been seized and are undergoing forensic testing, and alleged that it wasn't a random attack.
"Any death is tragic, under these circumstances and takes its toll on families, on communities and people residing around that particular area," he said.
"Let's not forget first responders that attend those particular scenes."
The unit block has been cordoned off as investigations continue and police say that "no stone will be left unturned".
