Ok,
It is not possible to inherit the query from the current model when placed in a singular content (e.g., article, page, 404, empty).

In reply to: Big problem – Moving the Content block in the article editorHello, this is happening for the third time, and I’m fed up. Why and how is this happening? Is it only happening to me? Have the developers even seen my post? It’s so difficult to explain, I don’t speak English. Has this problem happened to anyone else? Please, please, please reply. I spend endless hours on my websites and I don’t know when or how this happens… I’m completely bewildered by this recurring issue.

In reply to: Please fix the link addition function in the navigationThank you, you’ve solved my problem. Indeed, when I copy the link directly, it opens the panel and creates the space, so all I have to do is edit the title! Thank you so much for your help^^

In reply to: Please fix the link addition function in the navigationHello, I’m simply trying to add a link to an external page. It’s impossible.
Additionally: Make sure you haven’t activated any plugins in your project and use a default theme. That’s the only way to reproduce this as a potential issue. If you still have plugins activated, deactivate them and then try again. I would also recommend using a default theme like TwentyTwentyFive for the test.
I don’t get it. I should be able to add a link without having to disable my plugins or use a default theme. That doesn’t make any sense. I don’t understand what you mean by that.

In reply to: Big problem – Moving the Content block in the article editorSorry, the translation isn’t easy; it’s not easy to explain it to you properly. The drag and drop isn’t intentional or deliberate. Yes, I use blocks + to add my blocks, never drag and drop. Having been very careful to prevent it from happening again, I don’t see where I went wrong, and this time I had to completely reinstall Twenty Five and recreate yet another child theme because even the default theme was like that, and it was impossible to find what to delete to restore it. Even after resetting the template, the error was still there.
I suspect a child theme plugin, because this plugin already causes problems with media. I don’t know what to think.
But if it’s not the plugin, it will happen again.
Thanks for the feedback anyway.

In reply to: Big problem – Moving the Content block in the article editorIt happened again. It’s not normal for this to happen. It shouldn’t be possible, especially since I was very careful and I don’t see when it happened. Did someone hack into my site and mess it up? Well, no! But why is this happening? I have to start my theme over again, what a waste of time, and until when? IT’S HAPPENING TO ME?

In reply to: Big problem – Moving the Content block in the article editorThe easiest solution is to reinstall the theme. So I reinstalled another child theme.

In reply to: Creating a menu is a nightmare.Okay, we need to add some blocks.
Hello, thank you for your interest in my problem.
For a Quotes category, what I’m trying to do is recreate a quotes page like we had before the theme blocks. We would add our text, choose the quote format, and voilĂ , online, a special quotes page would appear.
I wanted to get back that magical option we had before…
What I tried to do to achieve this was to create: a template + a composition, so not synchronized, because I need to be able to create a new quote each time. It took much longer, and it doesn’t allow me to make a global change if I want to. I would have to go through all the pages to modify them.
Ultimately, the Quotes format is now only used to organize these articles.
Or maybe I just don’t know how to use it properly yet^^
PS : This is translated from French, I hope it’s understandable.

In reply to: [CastCore] functions.phpThe most common (and technical) solution: Given the current limitations of the default block, the most efficient solution is to use code. You’ll need to use a code snippet that modifies the loop query.
How to do this?
Create a child theme if you haven’t already.
Edit your child theme’s functions.php file.
Add code that uses the pre_get_posts or query_loop_block_query filter to exclude the current post. The code should look something like this:
function exclude_current_post_from_query_loop( $query ) {
if ( $query->get( 'post_type' ) === 'post' && is_single() && is_main_query() ) {
$current_post_id = get_the_ID();
$query->set( 'post__not_in', array( $current_post_id ) );
}
}
add_action( 'pre_get_posts', 'exclude_current_post_from_query_loop' );
