Hi, new to the forum and hoping someone can help me. I am currently working on my website – [ redundant link deleted ] and have noticed my permalinks are all showing the temporary website and am unable to change them. My site is not live yet so have posted a screenshot of the permalinks with temporary address. I have been liaising with Kodee (Hostinger AI) for about 2 hours today and have checked everything on the site to no avail. Surely there must be an easy way to change these?

    Many thanks

  • By the way you shared it, it seems that the permalink feature of your WordPress site is working fine. The permalink settings in WordPress doesn’t change the domain of the site, just the slugs used for different posts, categories and other taxonomies.

When I go to your site, I see a Hostinger page mentioning that the domain is registered at Hostinger but it’s not your site. It’s possible that you own both the site and the domain, but you haven’t configured the domain in order to point to your site. By doing this, the permalink examples you shared will show the domain of your site.

This is more a hosting related issue than a WordPress issue. I can see they have some documentation about this:
    https://www.hostinger.com/support/1863967-how-to-point-a-domain-to-hostinger/

But I suggest you to reach Hostinger for more information.

    Kind regards,
    Jair.
