Slug not working, but regular link does

options are set to use onlineparty as the URL slug:
The current Affiliate URL parameter name is: onlineparty
The default Affiliate URL parameter name is affiliates.However, if I use the URL it does not shop from the affiliate. If I use the regular link, it does.
Link: http://www.website.com?onlineparty=4 (WORKS)
Pretty: http://www.website.com/onlineparty/4 (Does NOT WORK)
Dashboard/Affiliates/Visits & Referrals: Only shows hits from the ?onlineparty=4 clicks, none from the /onlineparty/4 clicks.suggestions?
