Hi @matthewdhuntley ,
Thank you for the detailed steps to reproduce the issue.
We tried reproducing this on our end using the same workflow, but unfortunately we were unable to replicate the behavior.
Could you please temporarily disable any caching plugins on your website, clear all site/server caches (if applicable), and also clear your browser cache before testing again?
Once done, please try the steps again and let us know if the issue persists. If it does, we’ll be happy to investigate further.
Thank you for your help and patience.
Hi @matthewdhuntley ,
Hope you’re doing great.
I wanted to check in with you regarding the inquiry you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help? I’d be happy to assist you in any case.
Thank you!
Have a great day ahead.
Hi @shubhanshukandani,
Thanks so much for getting back to me. I really appreicate the follow up.
I have tried to reproduce this issue many times on my side as well, and even though I did see it occur again, there does not seem to be a definitive pattern, so I think we’re good to mark this issue as Resolved. I will be sure to let you know if this occurs again, however.
With that said, I did want to call your attention to another issue (and I’m happy to open another topic if need), which I wondered if the Icegram Express Team could address for the next iteration:
NOTE: A prerequisite for this bug is to have an Icegram Express form created with the List /”Subscribe to List” field enabled, showing each List as a checkbox option (including the list that’s going to be renamed)
1) Navigate to Icegram Express > Audience
2) Rename any List with a new name
3) Navigate to Icegram Express > Forms
4) Click to edit the form that shows each List (notice on the “Basic Details” page, the Audience List accurately shows the renamed list)
5) Click “Continue”
6) On the “Build Form” page, notice the OLD List name appears under the “Subscribe to List” section of the form, even though, after going to Form Fields > List, the new name of the list is in the “Enable lists” drop-down. Essentially, in order for the lists under “Subscribe to List” section of the form to accurately reflect the NEW name of the List(s), the User must de-select the lists and then re-add them to the form. Is it possible for the NEW List names to be updated globally (including on forms) and automatically without the User needing to taking manual action?
Thanks as always!
Matthew Huntley
Hi @matthewdhuntley,
Thank you for the update, and I’m glad to hear we can consider the original issue resolved.
Regarding the new behavior you’ve described, thank you for the detailed explanation. We were able to understand the scenario.
At the moment, when a list is renamed, the “Subscribe to List” field in existing forms does not automatically refresh to display the updated list name. As you noticed, re-selecting the list in the form updates it correctly.
We’ve shared this with our development team as a usability improvement so they can evaluate automatically updating renamed list names across existing forms in a future release.
We appreciate you taking the time to report this and provide such clear reproduction steps—they’re very helpful.
Thanks again for your continued feedback and support!
