Redirect handling, http/https and others
-
I see inconsistent behaviour regarding redirects. Some are followed and result in (false positive) “is live”-status (example: historically with a different service, https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/archiveofourown.org redirects via 302 to amazon, nevertheless, link is considered live) .
Others are not, gut feelings towards http->https-Redirects. I see (http-) links considered dead which redirect seamlessly to https.http://www.monochrom.at/suz-game/sektor2/index_de.htm, http://sinai-kamel-safari.de etc. etc.I’m totally aware that redirects are a fuzzy problem (same content? soft 404?), nevertheless, at least the http/https-check looks to me like a low hanging fruit.
Thanks for a great plugin!
