Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the groundhogg domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/customer/www/MY-DOMAIN/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6260

Please let us know if you’re aware of this issue or have fixed it, thanks!! Testing this plugin and love it so far otherwise 🙂

    Hi James,

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the trouble.

The notice comes from Groundhogg setting up part of its settings before its translation files had loaded. Since WordPress 6.7, WordPress reports that as “translation loading was triggered too early”. It’s a notice rather than a fatal error, and it doesn’t affect how the plugin works. If it’s actually taking your site down, that’s likely your host or a debug setting turning notices into errors. Turning off WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY should stop it from breaking pages in the meantime.

We’ve fixed the cause: the plugin now loads its translations before it initializes. The fix is in the next release, so please update Groundhogg when it’s out and let us know if the notice is still there.

    Thanks again,
    Adrian
