For each category you can select who has access to it:
– non-logged in users
– logged in users
– forum staff only
If thats not what you need: Can you give me a more detailed example?

OK, I see “moderators” – sorry, I did forget this. Is it supposed to be like “editors” ? Or “authors” ? Or between π ?
update: I had blocked all the forum in “options” so I did not care to the category option.
So you have a forum which you have a blocked for non-logged in users. Right?
What do you want to achieve now? Which user-role should do which things? It is still not clear for me.

I want to block more than just “connected” as – with WooCommerce – clients have an account and I don’t want them to see the forum.
So I need to allow “authors” and more.
Sorry for not to be clear enough. I don’t know where “moderator” is in WP’s roles hierarchy. I did not find any information about this role – searching Google but maybe I missed something.
With Moderators I mean forum moderators. Those are people who are allowed to edit/delete posts and close topics for example. But I think this will not help you.
The problem is that I cant check in the forums if a user is in a special “group” which is not defined inside Asgaros Forum. Maybe it would be easier to put a link to the forums to a menu which is only shown to users which are non WooCommerce clients.

The forum is “hidden” – no direct link from the site.
But I cannot find how to determine who is moderator or not in your plugin.
You can definie moderators in the user edit screen of the user you want to set as a moderator. There should be a checkbox when you scroll down.

OK, find it. Dumb I was: I was searching in my profile page but I’m default moderator as admin I suppose.
But it’s not a cool solution as if I put everyone moderator, it may become a mess π
I will look at protect content plugins – like S2Member – that can block access for certain role.
