    I have been trying to resolve this issue and found the culprit.

    If you have a standard heading element which has a url linked text, and it is within a slide using the ‘Slider & Carousel’ (say horizontal), plus turn on the ‘Advanced Effects’ using the custom option, the heading url is not active/clickable. Change that back to another effect such as ‘Coverflow’, and it works.

    Anyone else experienced this problem before? Any workarounds if I still want to keep my custom Advanced Effects?

    Posting this encouraged a check on the custom translate z values.

    So the issue was setting a negative Z value. When i set the value to positive, the link works.

    Problem solved.
