• Hey Team,

We use your plugin along with the add on for Elementor Forms on over 50 websites. We send out clients an SMS when they recieve a form enquiry.

We use Guni SMS for the Gateway. We have one client who we have issues with. All clients have Australian mobile numbers, but one always has issues.

    The error we receive is….

Invalid Contacts: 61476XXXXXX‬.They should start with 61 and must be 11 digits, e.g. 614xxxxxxxx.

The number is in this format. For our other clients it also works when using 0412 123 123, but not with this client. Please help!

As soon as I switch it to my number or any other it works.

  • Hi @lindseyt,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Since this only affects one specific client’s number, the issue is almost certainly something in how that number is stored or formatted on that contact’s record.

    Could you check the following:

    1. Look at the raw value, go to wherever that client’s phone number is stored (WooCommerce order, user profile, custom field, etc.) and check if there are any extra spaces, dashes, brackets, or invisible characters around the digits.
    2. Delete and re-type the number, don’t paste it, type it manually in the correct format (61476xxxxxx) and test again.
    3. Check the form field, if the number comes from an Elementor Forms submission, check the entry in the form submissions log to see the exact value that was submitted.

Since all your other clients work fine, this is isolated to the data for this one contact rather than a plugin configuration issue.

Let us know what the stored value looks like and we can help from there!

    Best regard
