The WPCode metabox can be disabled from the screen settings like any other metabox https://a.supportally.com/i/K2ky94 . We specifically made it collapsed by default all the time so that it will not interfere with the editing experience.
You can also create a PHP snippet using WPCode to deregister the metabox completely if you wish using this code:

remove_meta_box( 'wpcode-metabox-snippets', $post_type, 'normal' );
