Hi,

As you said in the “Displayed HTML” section, I put the code of this section in my pages so that the short link that was created is automatically placed in that section, but what it shows me is the same phrase that is inside the code (% short_url% ). Can you help me in this field?

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Could you please tell us how & where are you placing this tag? If you are adding the tag programatically or using the theme, there are chances that tag replacement happens before the content loaded and due to that it might not working.

At first, in WordPress, I added a new section in the HTML blocks section and started editing with Elementor, and from the Elementor menu, I put your HTML tag code in it, which was in the ” Displayed HTML “.

This is going to be displayed in the sidebar section

Just want to confirm did you select posts, pages etc to display HTML?

Not Exactly, First i went to HTML Blocks and i made new one then edited it with Elementor, Added Html into it and paste your Display Html code which you have in your plugin’s settings, this Html Blocks going to add to my slidebar site. I will send you the photos in the order of operation ( it’s 10 picture ).

Hi,

Thanks for your detailed explanation.

We suspect that you haven’t set the settings correctly to make sure it replaces the tags.

Could you please confirm that you have selected posts, pages (or whatever custom post types are using) in the URL Shortify > Settings > Display > Auto Create Short URL Tag? option. (see attachment)

If that is selected, it should be display short url instead of tag.

If not selected, please select and save the settings and check once again.

Please check and confirm.

Hi,

As you can see my pic which i attached, i reinstalled it but there is no place for activate it, should i get URL Shortify pro for this?
