WIOFA Wishlist

This Giving Tuesday, help us kick off our WIOFA Wishlist holiday season fundraiser for our teen support group for hematology and oncology patients at Advocate Children’s Hospital. A support group that brings comfort, connection, and a little sparkle to patients who need it most. Your generosity creates moments of laughter, makes memories possible for friends and families hold onto, and ensures that kids can enjoy experiences that remind them they are never alone.

The teen support group is organized by a group of child life specialists and therapists who spend the most time with the kids at the hospital. Around this time of year, they ask the teens what their favorite support group outings are, or what they… wish… to do in the coming year. And that’s where we come in! All month leading up to Christmas, we’ll be sharing the teens’ responses and encouraging you to donate to make a kid’s wish come true. Giving Tuesday is just the beginning, and we’ll be updating the wishlist as more kids send their letters to Santa. Tune in this holiday season to recap all the good we created in 2025 and what’s hopefully in store for 2026 and beyond!

Make a Donation

When you make a donation to Walk It Out For Andrew, you directly provide funding for the teens we support to attend a Support Group Outing. You help give every teen cancer and blood disease patient a chance to be a kid again, help create new friendships and lifelong memories, and help return a sense of normalcy to the abnormal routine of treatments and hospital stays for these wonderful kids.
