This is my entry for Ronovanwrites Weekly Haiku Challenge.

To fight for my life
With raw hunger I will strike
I will not give in.

I strike out at life
Hunger is the only way
*Anna, my friend stay.
* A name for Anorexia.

This is my entry for Ronovanwrite’s weekly Haiku Challenge.

No need to Rebel
Nature can’t be fooled by chance
She will lead the dance.
This week Ronovanwrites has given us the two words Lake and Calm.
I wrote a trio of Haiku, a before, during and after.
Lake and Calm
Gently the lake flows
Softly bathed in the moonlight
So deep and so calm
The waves lap my toes
The water fills me with calm
At one with the lake

Cold, pulled from the lake
In death she looked peaceful, calm
All her travails gone.
This week the talented Ronovanwrites has given us Heart and Need as our weekly prompts for his Haiku Poetry Challenge.
I have done a Haiku and a Tanka.

You have broken me
Tenderness is at the heart
Of all that I need.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once a work of art
Destroyed, spite lays at the heart
Jealousy maybe
Spoiled because of its beauty
Is this envy what we need.
This week Ronovanwrites has set us some sizzling words for our weekly Haiku Challenge : Pleasure and Excite.
Icy pleasure.
Ice melts on hot skin
The ice cold trickle excites
As pleasure explodes.
This week Ronovanwrites has given us the too words, Hope and Stay.
………………………………
With you born new hope
Valiantly lead your troops
We need you to stay
………………………………….
So came the evil
All bridges burnt hope had fled
She would not remain
This week Ronovanwrites has given us the weekly Haiku prompt of Painted and Lady.
Eats all in its path
To burst forth full of colour
A painted Lady.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

She always turned heads
Yet now painted in pastal
A stunning lady.
This week Ronovanwrites has given us the the words, Fate&Make.

Truly it is said
Make the most of everyday
You can not beat fate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Don’t say it’s not fair
All of us make our own fate
Don’t care made to care.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The fickle finger
Of fate can be made to wait
You can make it so

This week the very talented Ronovan has set us the title words Excite & Karma.

All senses heighten
Feel the Karma all around
What goes up comes down

This is my entry to Ronovanwrite’s weekly Haiku challenge.
Please don’t waste your life
Chargrin is too much effort
Joy is much less strife

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the edge I stand
Broken and full of chargrin
All joy lost and banned
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Give me joy and life
Chargrin is a waste of time
Run towards the light

Welcome to my “Heartland Echoes,” where I aim to share my poems with the world, along with my survival story and autobiography of childhood abuse, motivational quotes, and much more. Through my words, I hope to inspire others to share their own stories and experiences. Each poem is a piece of my heart and soul, along with a story of a traumatic past, crafted with inspiration, Hope, faith, love and passion. I believe that by sharing our art and emotions, I’ll be able to connect with others on a deeper level and create a sense of community.
