One-Liner Wednesday. Fairness .

Back in the Day when you could get over the fences at Glastonbury our eldest son and his mates would always get helped over by the person in front. Then they would reach down and help the next person regardless. One year he returned covered in mud ( it always seemed to rain in those days) and bruised all down his left side. I asked what had happened. He grinned and told me he’d got to the top of the fence and reached out to help whoever was behind him. Unfortunately for him it was a huge biker of about 18stone. ( Our lad weighed about 8stone and was thin) He smiled “it’s what you do mum , the guy was grateful. “

The Escapist Coloring Club Prompt – October 1, 2018

Right no point it lying I didn’t do any Colouring at all in September, it was a busy month.

But I have have read the rules and this is part of them : all you have to do is post pictures of your own colouring, your kids’ colouring, or that of anyone you know and have permission to share. This is a month-long prompt, which means you have all of October to link back here.

So for September I am posting a picture my husband drew himself and coloured in himself forty years ago. It’s our first son aged 5years old, he was in hospital and rather ill. Happy to say he is fine and dandy now 🤗

October I shall attempt to do a pretty pattern. I have some new pastel pencils, given to me on my birthday, as well as my lovely original warm colours so I have no excuse!

Happy Colouring Everyone.

Heartland Echoes

Welcome to my “Heartland Echoes,” where I aim to share my poems with the world, along with my survival story and autobiography of childhood abuse, motivational quotes, and much more. Through my words, I hope to inspire others to share their own stories and experiences. Each poem is a piece of my heart and soul, along with a story of a traumatic past, crafted with inspiration, Hope, faith, love and passion. I believe that by sharing our art and emotions, I’ll be able to connect with others on a deeper level and create a sense of community.
