This week we are dancing to a different tune, yes indeed. We are looking after our friend’s guide dog Quala. They are away on a holiday with the children and Quala is with us. It is strange how quickly you can get get attuned to a different dog…and believe me they are all so different. Quala is similar in looks to Ruby though not as blond and it’s surprising how different her character is . Both dogs trained to the same ridged standard yet they all have their own quirks.
Quala has her own routine and has quickly retuned ours! We do still miss Ruby but having Quala here is lovely, they were great friends and Quala’s owner always says Ruby made Quala the excellent guide dog she is today. Our chance meeting with our dogs those years ago was very fortunate. A dog’s love is worth a fortune .
