Texture with string ATC swap

These three ATCs are for a texture with string swap. I was a bit stuck for ideas until I thought of knitting. It was a bit painfull on my poor fingers, but I am quite pleased with the result. I stuck the string borders down with UHU.

A few ATCs for a change

I don't make very many ATCs now, as I have a vast collection of them. One day I will make some fabric covers for the files, but don't hold your breath.
These are for a vintage lady swap, and I can't resist vintage.
I coloured the backgrounds with distress inks, and then stamped and embellished over the top.

Heat it up ATC's

I've been having fun painting, and heating up various fabrics to make some ATCs. They are all backed with pelmet vilene, which I painted. Then fabrics like tyvek, lutrador, organza, and nappy liners were all painted, and added to the vilene, machine embroidered, and heated with the heat gun, until they either melted, warped or holed. Some of them have silk and angellina fibres under the organza to give a bit of sparkle.
