Veritas is a nonprofit educational institution founded by award-winning author and educator Brandon P. Fleming. Established in 2017 on the campus of Harvard University, Veritas was created to provide youth with access to prestigious academic and career-focused programs that make them highly competitive candidates for top colleges and universities.

For eight consecutive years, Veritas scholars have outperformed students from around the world in an international academic debate competition at the Harvard Debate Council Summer Workshops. Through Veritas, hundreds of students have gained pre-collegiate training at the Harvard Debate Council, recently admitted for career development experiences at the University of Oxford, received externships with Fortune 100 companies, and studied abroad  — including South Africa, Japan, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and Poland.

The impact of Veritas has been featured in national media such as CNN, Forbes, and Good Morning America, and has attracted support from national figures, including Steve Harvey. The Veritas story is also chronicled in Fleming’s bestselling memoir, MISEDUCATED, which is currently being adapted for both stage and film.

Today, Veritas continues to scale its mission nationally, expanding programming to serve students across Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, and beyond.
