The Stephan’s Dom
St. Stephen’s Cathedral




Karls Kirche – St Charles Church
It is a world history of Architecture:
A Greek Roma Temple,
Asian Pagoda Roofs,
a Baroque cupola,
and many cupolas and towers a an illusion to Byzantine and Oriental achitectural Art.



Tucked in the middle of Vienna is also one of the oldest churches.
St. Peters Kirche – St. Peters Basilika
One of the oldest and holiest sites of Christianity and Catholic Tradition, it is traditionally the burial site of its titular, St. Peter, who was the head of the twelve Apostles of Jesus.
There are many more and all very different and beautiful.

On a glorious day we visited Belvedere Castle.
The Baroque palace complex was built
as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy.
The garden connect Upper and Lower Belvedere.
Inside were many pieces of Art displayed .

The Butterfly house in Vienna is worth a visit.
It is situated in the Palmhouse’ Hofburg.
The flowers there are beautiful.





So are the butterflies.
They even sit on you.







This post is dedicated to my dad who would be 100 years old today. He loved Butterflies and all little plants and he saw everything beautiful even if ever so tiny. He is so loved and missed.

It has a colourful history and you can see statues everywhere.
This laid-back and bizarrely quiet Austrian city has so much to offer.
Austrian food is delicious and
Coffee houses are everywhere.
A reservation in Cafe Central was a must.



With beautiful piano music we enjoyed a wonderful Viennese Dinner.

Vienna has a slower pace and really enjoy living.
