Spoooooks! It is BACK. (I was going to betray it by watching Downton Abbey live, since I can't watch one channel and record another at the same time, and the iPlayer >>>>> the ITV Player, but my digibox has stopped working again so streaming Spooks it is.)
- "First break in protocol and you're out." ...well, that'll take about five minutes then. (Seventeen minutes in: "You don't have the security clearance for this, so you didn't hear it from me." OH HARRY.)
- Sad that they wrote Beth out offscreen; I liked her and it would've been nice to have three women for a change. Oh well, it wouldn't be Spooks if I weren't vaguely annoyed by one of their choices.
- Dmitri has hair! I like it. I am less convinced by the shininess of Tariq's hair though. DEEP INTELLECTUAL OBSERVATIONS, I HAS THEM.
- Oh dear, Callum appears to be one of those characters we are supposed to find charming but are actually annoying.
- Oh Harry, you are so great. SUPREMELY UNBOTHERED BY HAVING GUNS AIMED AT HIM. (I would also like to place a sizeable bet onFringe Boy Sacha turning out to be Harry's son, in a SHOCKING TWIST. (ETA, half an hour later: AHAHAHA.))
- Over halfway through the episode and I have decided that I officially Like Erin. Excellent.
- Ahahaha, they're going for the "be my fake date :D? :D?" gambit.
- Callum, if you want me to like you, stick to the sarcasm, ok?
- RUTH I LOVE YOU. (This is à propos of nothing in particular, I just realised I hadn't said it yet. Though the face she pulled after pretending to knock the tray over was great.)
- D'awww, Dmitri, I have missed you. ♥ "Is sort of basically cheerful most of the time" is one of my favourite character traits.
