Zeus is pleased to announce that it has acted as Nominated Adviser and Joint Bookrunner on the oversubscribed £28.5m placing and subscription, alongside a £2m retail offer for Likewise Group Plc (LIKE). The net proceeds of the fundraise will support the 60,000 sq. ft. Corby high-bay distribution centre acquisition, strengthen the balance sheet, fund transaction costs and provide flexibility to execute the Group's growth strategy, including additional strategic acquisitions. Likewise Group PLC is a fast-growing and progressive flooring distributor supplying customers throughout the United Kingdom. Since its formation in 2018, the Group has invested significantly in developing a comprehensive national distribution network, combining strategic acquisitions with the establishment of new distribution centres and logistics hubs. The Group now has comprehensive geographical coverage of the UK and continues to invest in its infrastructure, product offering, sales and marketing activities to further increase market presence and support future growth. Zeus had the pleasure of hosting a group of interns this week.   Two of our students joined us through The Talent Tap, a social mobility charity dedicated to helping talented young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds access career-enhancing opportunities. The charity works with 18–24-year-olds from areas with limited social mobility, breaking down barriers related to geography and socio-economic disadvantage, while championing diversity and helping young people explore professional, city-based careers.   Alongside our Talent Tap students, we also welcomed three additional students to the team.   Thank you to The Talent Tap for the incredible work they do, and to all of our interns for bringing their energy and enthusiasm this week.   Wishing you all the best for the future Oliver Armstrong, Caspar Baker, Stephanie Currie, Prince M., Atharav Naik

Last week, Zeus was delighted to host our annual Golf Day at Mottram Hall in support of Francis House Children's Hospice.   This year, we introduced a golf lesson for team members and guests who were new to the game or wanted to sharpen their putting, chipping and range skills. Meanwhile, a team of cyclists took on a 100 km bike ride from Mottram Hall, completing the ride in under 4.5 hours. It was a fantastic day, with our annual charity raffle and prizes awarded for Winning Team, The Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin and Riders of the day.   We were also treated to a great result by the England team, which we’d ensured was being played for everyone to enjoy together.   A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported the events and helped raise funds for such an important cause. We’re proud to continue supporting Francis House Children’s Hospice.
