Sophie once completed a four-hour spin class for charity. (Not a typo) It's one of the toughest physical challenges she's taken on, and she loved pushing herself outside her comfort zone for a good cause. That same "good, this is one for me" attitude shows up in her day job too. As HR Coordinator at View HR, Sophie's the person clients turn to when they're not sure where to start - a new starter settling in, a question about their employment, or just someone who needs pointing in the right direction. Ten months in, and she's already the one clients thank for making onboarding feel smooth and people-focused rather than another box-ticking exercise. Outside work, she's usually at the gym, on a beach walk with her husband, or making the case for a bottomless brunch. Three words for the View HR team, in Sophie's own: supportive, knowledgeable, collaborative.

Meet Paul Burton, Legal Director and Solicitor at View HR. Paul's been an employment solicitor for nearly 20 years. Before joining us almost three years ago, he was a partner at a well-known South Coast law firm. He's a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and has been recognised in the Legal 500 for years running. Clients come to him for tribunal defences, TUPE, whistleblowing, disability discrimination and settlement agreements, and what they thank him for most is being available, proactive and straight-talking with commercial advice. Here's the bit you won't find on his CV: Paul once appeared on a children's TV programme alongside Sue Nichols, star of Rentaghost and Coronation Street. These days you're more likely to find him on a tennis court, a golf course, or watching his step-daughter play netball at the weekend. He's recently discovered a love of cruising and has become, in his own words, "a bit of a coffee snob" since the office got a proper coffee machine. Ask him about employment law and he'll give you a straight answer. Ask him about the TV appearance and you might have to buy him a coffee first!

Annalie Briers and Joanne Hatch were at The NICI yesterday for the New Forest Business Partnership 25th anniversary. They heard speeches from Matthew Lawson , Chairman of NFBP, on the partnership's journey so far, and Anne Thompson DL, Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire, who marked the occasion in style. Twenty-five years of bringing New Forest businesses together is something worth celebrating. It was such a lovely day to be part of, catching up with familiar faces and hearing what's next for the partnership. Happy anniversary and thank you for having us.
