💥 Now Open – Horbury Working Members Club! 💥 🥳 We were delighted to attend the official opening of this brand-new play area yesterday – right on our doorstep in West #Yorkshire! 🤝 Our Factory Manager Keith and his brother Andy (the WMC manager) joined Andy Moss, the installer who made it all happen, to see the new equipment officially opening to all. 💚 It’s always a pleasure for us to support fantastic community spaces like this, and we can’t wait to see our new additions bringing big fun here for years to come! 🔵 Even better, just up the road is a blue plaque recognising the home of Richard Sutcliffe, the Victorian pioneer who began the mining equipment business which eventually became the modern Sutcliffe Play. ⏰ It’s true what they say – time really does fly when you’re having fun!

😃 The things we do for play! 🤝 It was a real pleasure to welcome Alexis Bradbury from Browndog yesterday for some filming in our head office playground, and as you can see, he certainly threw himself into his work! 😎 During this photographic play safari, he couldn’t resist ascending our Altitude Arete unit with his GoPro and checking out the balance bridge and slide for himself – David Attenborough, eat your heart out! 💚 It’s always awesome to see adults unleashing their inner child when they encounter our equipment, as these snaps can attest 😁

👏 'Play is fundamental. It's a rehearsal for life.' 👏 🔥 What a way to kick off #Playday2026, as viewers witnessed a rousing call for change from the inspirational Amber Ogunsanya-William on BBC Breakfast this morning! 🙌 She discussed the pressing need for Andy Burnham's #government to introduce a new national play strategy and play sufficiency legislation (as Play England have worked so hard to deliver), and the transformative effect this would have on the prospects of children everywhere, particularly those from poor or deprived backgrounds. ✋ As Amber says, a childhood without #play is one which fails to properly prepare children for the challenges and opportunities of adult life, leaving them far worse off in every way. We can't let that happen. 💚 Luckily, we know that #itallstartswithplay - and we'll continue to do our bit every day to prove it!
