Just over two years ago, Supply25 didn’t exist. The challenge was simple to understand, but incredibly difficult to solve. Public sector organisations were all trying to achieve the same thing: stronger cyber security, better supplier assurance and more resilient supply chains. The problem was that everyone was approaching it differently. Assessments were created independently, guidance was interpreted in different ways, suppliers were asked for information in different formats, and procurement teams were often managing assurance through spreadsheets, emails and disconnected processes. The Scottish Government launched a CivTech Scotland challenge to find a better way. Out of 19 ideas, Supply25 was selected and we spent the next 18 months working alongside procurement, cyber security, accessibility and design specialists across the public sector to build something different. Fast forward to today. Supply25 has now supported hundreds of procurements worth hundreds of millions of pounds and is helping public sector organisations take a more consistent, scalable and collaborative approach to supplier assurance. Last week, we were incredibly proud to see Scottish Government and Supply25 win the National GO Awards for Procurement Transformation Through Technology. This recognition reflects far more than a technology platform. It reflects the power of true partnership between government, public sector organisations and innovators. It reflects a willingness to challenge established ways of working, take calculated risks, and collaborate to solve difficult problems. And it demonstrates what can be achieved when technology is combined with deep domain expertise and a shared vision for improvement. Thank you to everyone who has helped shape the platform so far, especially the Scottish Government team, participating organisations, suppliers, experts and partners who have contributed their time, feedback and expertise throughout the journey. We’re just getting started. #GOAwardsNational #Awards2026 #PublicProcurement #Procurement #PublicSector #GovTech #SupplyChain #CyberSecurity #Accessibility #CivTech #Supply25
