What does innovation look like at Shell? At our Energy Transition Campus in Amsterdam, scientists use Gas‑to‑Liquids technology to turn natural gas into high‑quality fuels and products – from lubricants and detergents to cooling fluids for data centres. This is one example of the innovation happening across Shell today. Watch the full film and learn more: https://lnkd.in/egsg7wEe

How can endurance racing help develop better lubricants? By giving engineers the opportunity to test and learn under extreme conditions, “we can try new, exciting ideas on the racetrack and the best of those can find their way to the road,” says Shell scientist Gösta Möller. Working with BMW M Motorsport, engineers and scientists use the pressures of endurance racing to generate insights that can help shape the next generation of lubricants. Go behind the scenes through our FT Partner Content story to discover how lessons from the racetrack can translate to the road. https://lnkd.in/eFcqQQeG

Long-term progress takes long-term collaboration. Delta Air Lines and Shell Aviation have announced a five-year agreement to help expand the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) across multiple U.S. hubs through 2030. Building on decades of working together, the agreement goes beyond conventional jet fuel supply. Together, Delta and Shell will help strengthen the infrastructure, blending, logistics and delivery capabilities needed to support reliable SAF supply and integrate it into everyday airline operations. As the aviation sector works to scale SAF, collaboration across the value chain will be essential to driving progress and delivering meaningful impact. Shell has taken a final investment decision on a liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in The Bahamas. The investment includes acquiring an interest in New Providence Gas Ltd., a joint venture which will construct, own and operate a new small-scale LNG terminal. The project will enable the supply of natural gas for power generation, replacing conventional fuel oil and diesel and helping to reduce emissions. https://lnkd.in/eekwg6Bb
We are pleased to announce that Shell has taken a final investment decision and broken ground on an LNG regasification terminal in The Bahamas. The investment includes acquiring an interest in New Providence Gas Ltd, a joint venture with Sun Oil Holdings, which will enable the supply of natural gas for power generation on New Providence. Shell will also be the LNG supplier for the project. This investment marks an important milestone for The Bahamas and its transition to a more modern and lower-emissions energy system. We look forward to working with the Government of The Bahamas and our partners Sun Oil Limited to help deliver this important project.
