𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝   𝐎𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 marks an exciting step forward for Pioneer, as we work alongside Firoka to bring the next chapter of Ozone Leisure Park to life following recent approval from Oxford City Council.   The plans will transform the site, introducing specialist lab and workspace alongside leisure, hospitality and community facilities in the heart of Oxford.   Building on Oxford’s reputation as a global centre for science and innovation, 𝐎𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 will provide a place for researchers, businesses and the wider community to connect, collaborate and grow.   𝐎𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 represents an important step for Pioneer as we continue to support the development of environments where science and technology businesses can thrive. Thank you to everyone who has helped bring this vision forward, including James Latham MRICS and the wider Pioneer Group team, as well as Bidwells and Perkins&Will. We’re also grateful to Oxford Science Enterprises, The Crown Estate and Oxford City Council for their support and collaboration. We’re looking forward to welcoming the next generation of innovators to 𝐎𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝.   𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞: https://lnkd.in/egBf24ZB

  • 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚 at Colworth Science Park welcomed some of the UK’s most promising student food innovators for the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐔𝐊 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥, in collaboration with Campden BRI and the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST).   The final brought together university students, food industry experts and academics to explore ideas ranging from new product concepts to creative approaches to sustainability and wider industry challenges.   Teams demonstrated the creativity, technical thinking and ambition coming through from universities across the UK, highlighting the potential of emerging talent entering the food industry.   The event gave students the opportunity to connect with industry experts, gaining insight into what it takes to develop an idea from concept to market.   Thank you to all of the Ecotrophelia UK sponsors, including Unilever, Pepsi Lipton, The Magnum Ice Cream Company, Marks and Spencer, Mondelēz International, Tesco, Sainsbury's, The Coca-Cola Company, Warburtons, Weetabix, Cranswick Country Foods PLC, pladis Global, PepsiCo and Nestlé, whose support helps create opportunities for students to connect with industry and continue developing their ideas beyond the competition.   Read more about the event and how Gastronomica at Colworth Science Park supported this year’s Ecotrophelia UK Final: https://lnkd.in/eb4AMxGy Bertrand Emond Jo Rathkey Chris Gilbert-Wood Robin Leaper Craig Leadley

𝐀 𝐂𝐖𝐎𝐖 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠   A few weeks ago at 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤, we tried something a little different. At Hauxton House, as part of 𝐂𝐖𝐎𝐖 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Pioneer's Fiona Nielsen hosted a reverse pitch session, giving three investors three minutes each to pitch their fund, what sets them apart and the value they bring to their portfolio companies.   Fiona then opened the Q&A with a question that often goes unasked: what does support really look like once the investment has been made?   All three investors answered with candid, practical examples of how they've supported founders beyond the boardroom. Their stories were grounded, insightful and, in a few cases, genuinely surprising.   It was a reminder that the strongest investor-founder relationships extend far beyond investment itself. They're built on ongoing support, shared experience and long-term partnership, principles that underpin how we build, back and grow companies at Pioneer.   Thanks to everyone who joined us, asked thoughtful questions and helped make it such an open discussion.   Cambridge Wide Open Week - A week of life sciences @ the home of life sciences ET Capital Limited Martin Rigby Sunil Shah Emily James, PhD Cambridge Innovation Capital o2h group #CWOW2026 #CambridgeWideOpenWeek
