The role of sustainability in investing at Permira has evolved significantly in recent years. In Private Equity, sustainability action plans are embedded in portfolio company onboarding and monitoring processes, which supports improved accountability, resilience and operational performance*. In Credit, sustainability factors are built into diligence and decision-making. Sustainability is also a growing source of opportunity. We’re backing management teams building companies where sustainability is core to the business model, including Westbridge Advisory, RightShip, Versaterm and Encore Fire Protection, and seeing rising demand across our Services and Technology sectors for sustainability-related solutions. We also believe the energy transition is one of the defining economic shifts of our time, and our Energy Transition strategy gained real momentum in 2025 and into 2026, marked by our first two Energy Transition investments signed in June and July: CDP and Quadrante. * Permira VIII portfolio companies only

Another strategic exit → today, funds advised by Permira announced the sale of BioCatch to Visa for approximately $2.4 billion. The transaction represents the Permira Funds’ fifth strategic exit of 2026 and continues a record period of realisations for the firm, with $16.6 billion distributed to investors over the last 12 months, representing 24% of start-of-period NAV. When the Permira Funds first invested in BioCatch in 2023, we saw a compelling platform operating at the intersection of AI, behavioral intelligence and financial infrastructure — areas where we believe technology will continue to reshape entire industries. Since then, BioCatch has nearly tripled revenue, more than tripled gross profit, expanded its customer base to more than 350 financial institutions worldwide, and continued to strengthen its leadership in behavioral intelligence and fraud prevention. We’re grateful to Gadi and the extended BioCatch team for their partnership and wish them every success in their next chapter post-close with a world-class strategic owner in Visa.

Big milestone: Reformation is now trading on the #NYSE under $REF. The Permira Funds partnered with Reformation in 2019, backing a brand with a loyal customer base, a distinct point of view, and a disruptive approach to fashion. Since then, the company has expanded its store footprint across multiple markets, broadened its product categories to reach a wider consumer base, and sustained years of consistent growth – all without losing what made it Reformation. Congratulations to Hali and the Reformation team as you enter this new chapter.

At the Permira Seoul Summit 2026, Permira brought together approximately 60 investors from more than 30 institutions to discuss the outlook for #privateequity and #privatecredit. The discussions highlighted the importance of assessing AI not only for its upside potential, but also for its implications for underwriting and long-term business resilience. As enterprise AI adoption accelerates, conviction is often running ahead of proof points. For investors, that means looking beyond AI ambition to assess how businesses are embedding AI into their operations, whether business models are resilient to disruption, and where genuine competitive advantage is emerging. The takeaway for both asset classes: in a more selective market, disciplined underwriting and deep sector expertise remain the strongest drivers of long-term performance. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such engaging discussions.

What a child eats in the morning can shape how much they get out of every school day, and the path they're able to take from there. That’s why the Permira Foundation started supporting Magic Breakfast UK five years ago. That commitment has helped to provide around 3 million breakfasts to children and young people who need it. But our support goes beyond funding. Here, Kasper Gyldenvang, investment lead for the Permira Foundation’s partnership with Magic Breakfast, and Lindsey MacDonald, PhD, CEO of Magic Breakfast, talk about the expertise Permira has brought to the partnership: improvements in data collection and governance, support with strategic costing and financial planning, and mentoring and training to build internal capability. At Permira, we know private capital is a people business, which is why attracting and developing the next generation of talent matters as much as investing in the next great business. That’s why Insights Week is one of the highlights of the summer as we open our office doors around the world to students for a behind-the-scenes look at careers in private markets and life at Permira. From developing investment ideas and tackling live case studies to spending time with teams across the firm, participants experienced first-hand what it's like to work at Permira. This year, the programme took place across our Madrid, London, New York and Menlo Park offices. 🔹 In London, 25 students from social mobility charity SEO London explored Permira's sectors and business functions before presenting their own investment thesis to a mock Investment Committee at the end of the week 🔹 In Madrid, 12 students aged 18+ from Fundacion Balia, a Permira Foundation Spark Fund partner, spent the week with Permira colleagues from across the firm, gaining an inside look at the wide range of roles that support investing and what a career in private equity can look like 🔹 Across New York and Menlo Park, more than 40 students from The Opportunity Network, DREAM, Minds Matter Bay Area (MMBay) and Minds Matter NYC - including a record 30+ participants in New York-worked through a live investment case study and heard from Permira’s Senior Advisers and consultants about what it’s like to work in businesses forming a different part of the private equity and finance ecosystem Thank you to every student for their enthusiasm, curiosity and engagement throughout the week, and to our colleagues across Permira for sharing their time, expertise and experiences to make the programme possible. We wish all participants every success in their next steps.

Great to support Out Investors' Pride Month reception again this year. To us at Permira, Pride is about inspiring authenticity for everyone. Authenticity is what enables us to show up to management teams as memorable and trustworthy, surface investment ideas grounded in real personal conviction and experience, and build successful teams. That’s a culture we are committed to building. A fantastic evening shared with industry friends, enjoying the sun and celebrating our LGBTQ+ colleagues!
Our annual Pride Month reception is always a highlight of the Out Investors calendar, and last week's evening at KKR's rooftop in Hanover Square was no exception. 🌈 On June 25, we gathered for the kind of conversations that make this network special. The Out Investors community keeps growing, and moments like this are a reminder of how much need and appetite there is for spaces where people can connect openly and authentically. Enormous thanks to La Caisse (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), Highland Europe, KKR, Oakley Capital and Permira for their support. Already looking forward to next year. 🏳️🌈
