Another day, another group of standout companies to showcase 🥳 This time, we’re turning our attention to Cyber Security. Each quarter, the team at neuco sits down to discuss the organisations making waves across the industry. For Q3, we landed on nine businesses that have caught our attention through AI innovation, major funding, strategic partnerships and impressive growth. Here’s who made the list: Brinqa: Advancing exposure management with its CyberRisk Graph, a new partnership with Horizon3.ai and the launch of BYOAI. Silent Push: Taking a more proactive approach to threat intelligence with Silent Push 6.0, helping teams identify malicious infrastructure earlier. Cranium AI: Expanding its AI security and governance platform through the acquisition of Aiceberg and a new partnership with Weights & Biases. MIND: Becoming the first data security company accepted into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program, strengthening its AI-native approach to data protection. Lasso: Building security around enterprise AI and connected agents, including its integration with the TrueFoundry AI Gateway. DataBahn: Growing internationally through its M.Tech partnership while expanding its work with Microsoft to support AI-driven security operations. Exaforce: Raising a huge $125m Series B to scale its AI-native security operations platform and autonomous security capabilities. Safe Security: Launching its AI Security Posture Management platform, giving enterprises greater visibility and control as AI adoption grows. PDQ: Continuing to develop its autonomous endpoint management offering, with new MSP capabilities, product updates and experienced leadership joining its board. Plenty happening across Cyber Security right now, and AI is clearly playing a big role in where the sector is heading. What do you think of our nine picks?? Is there anyone we’ve missed that deserves a spot next quarter? Let us know in the comments below!!

🎙️ New episode of The Satellite, Space & Defence Matters Podcast!🛰️ Millie Hall and I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Germán Barba Castro, Head of Growth at arcsec, for an enjoyable, open conversation about his journey and the wider space industry. One of the things I particularly enjoyed was hearing Germán Barba Castroán’s perspective on bringing a commercial and business mindset into an engineering-founded company and how important that balance is when scaling a space business. We also talked about breaking into the industry, with Germán Barba Castroán sharing some excellent advice for anyone looking to land their first role in Space, as well as those navigating the early stages of their career. Definitely worth a listen if you’re building your career in the sector or simply interested in the commercial journey behind a growing space company. Thanks again Germán Barba Castroán for joining us and sharing your experiences! 👏 🎧 Have a listen and let me know what you think. neuco #Space #Satellite #Defence #SpaceIndustry #Careers #Leadership #Podcast #neuco

Why aren’t we optimising more workflows with AI? 🤖 Okay, slightly leading question... I ran a poll last week asking what people are actually using AI for and, to my surprise, no one chose workflow optimisation 🤯 For me, this is one of the biggest opportunities AI brings. At neuco, we’ve found countless ways to use it to make everyday processes more efficient, from building bots and agents to handle simple, time-consuming tasks to filtering emails and messages and finding information on clients and candidates faster by integrating AI throughout our CRM, with a big shoutout to Atlas - the Recruitment Platform!! And I think this matters whether you're a huge organisation or a small business. In fact, from a small-business perspective, AI can be even more of a friend. You don’t always have huge teams, endless resources or the budget for a different system for every problem. AI can help bridge those gaps. It can connect parts of your workflow that previously wouldn’t talk to each other, cut out repetitive admin and give your team more time to focus on the work that actually needs a human. That doesn’t mean handing everything over to AI. We’re very aware of hallucinations, data quality and the importance of human judgement. But there’s a big difference between relying on AI and using AI to remove unnecessary admin. For me, that’s becoming a huge part of RevOps. If you’re not exploring where AI could make your workflows more efficient, you might be missing one of its most practical use cases.

After a magical Maternity Leave, I am delighted to be back at work full time this morning. I’ve relished every moment being at home with my little girl, it’s truly been a joy and privilege… Music classes, trips to the park, a lot of cake, much laughter and huge amounts of awe and wonder have filled my days. 🩷 A really big thank you to the entire team at neuco who have supported and encouraged me through the last 9 months and brought me up to speed over the last few weeks.🌎🎥📡 And now for the next chapter - life as a full-time working Mum and a whole new level of learning how to spin plates. I will take ALL the advice and tips going please!🙏🏻 Very much looking forwards to seeing everyone at IBC next month and catching up. Let myself of William Trenchard know if you will also be in Amsterdam. 🇳🇱🌷 #IBC2026 #neuco #MATLeave #fulltimeworkingmum #backtowork

Hiring in Defence and UAV markets is becoming increasingly difficult and, in many cases, unnecessarily so. The biggest issue we’re seeing isn’t a lack of talent. It’s a mismatch between urgency and process. Companies need exceptional people quickly, yet hiring processes are still taking months. Add unclear role definitions, lengthy decision-making and compensation that doesn’t reflect the market, and businesses are losing strong candidates they should be securing. This becomes even more challenging when scaling internationally. We recently supported a fast-growing Space organisation in appointing a Chief People Officer at a pivotal stage of its expansion. neuco The challenge wasn’t simply finding an experienced HR leader. They needed someone who had: → Successfully scaled people functions across multiple countries → Navigated complex international labour frameworks → Operated effectively within a rapidly growing organisation → The credibility to influence and strengthen the leadership team And all of this needed to happen through a highly confidential search in a very close-knit industry. Through deep sector knowledge, targeted market mapping and a consultative search process, we identified proven leaders with the right international scaling experience. The successful appointment is now helping shape the organisation’s people strategy, strengthen leadership capability and support its continued European and global growth. The lesson applies across Defence, UAV and Space hiring: simplify and align. Be clear about what you need. Make sure your compensation reflects the market. Get decision-makers aligned early. And when you find the right person, move. In these rapidly scaling markets, hesitation can be costly. neuco #Defence #UAV #Space #ExecutiveSearch #Leadership #Hiring #Talent #neuco

As part of her phased return, It’s great to have Tegan Valeny back at neuco HQ! After a year away on maternity leave, it’s been genuinely lovely catching up, not only on everything happening across Media and Sports Tech, but on life too!! A lot can change in a year, and there’s certainly been no shortage of innovation across the industry. Tegan is now fully back up to speed, while also filling her in on everything the neuco team has been up to, which took some time!! A special mention has to go to Sara El Mahjouby and Abi Burnham, who have done an incredible job within the Media and Sports Tech team while Tegan has been away. It’s been brilliant to see what they’ve achieved. And anyone who knows Tegan probably won’t be surprised to hear that she isn’t easing herself back in... Less than a month after returning, she’ll be joining me at IBC - International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam, quite the way to make a return to the wonderful world of Media!! I’m really looking forward to this year’s show, but even more so knowing I’ll have Tegan alongside me again. If you’re heading to IBC, drop either of us a message. We’d love to catch up while we’re there. Come Monday morning we will fully welcome Tegan back and the whole of team neuco is delighted and excited for this!
