There's a moment familiar to anyone who's tried to buy a ROLEX or an Hermès Birkin. You ask for the one you actually want. No display case. No "buy" button. Just a waitlist, and the quiet implication that wanting isn't the same as deserving. It's not a supply problem. It's the strategy. Rolex could make more watches. It chooses not to. Hermès could sell more Birkins. It chooses not to. The scarcity isn't demand outpacing supply by accident, it's engineered on purpose, with the same precision as anything else these houses build. Because here's what these brands figured out before anyone else: they're not really selling watches or bags. They're selling the wait. #Rolex #Hermès #LuxuryFashion #BrandStrategy #ExclusivityMarketing #ModumInsights

AI has quietly solved the easiest problem in branding and left the hardest one completely untouched. A logo, a campaign mockup, a polished visual world, all of it can now be generated in minutes, by almost anyone, for almost nothing. What used to separate great brands from average ones (production quality, visual polish, sheer output) has stopped being a differentiator at all. What AI hasn't figured out how to manufacture is meaning. Recognition, trust, emotional resonance, the sense that a brand has a history and a point of view worth returning to, none of that can be prompted into existence. It has to be built slowly, protected deliberately, and reinforced over years. In a landscape where execution is suddenly abundant, that kind of depth may be the only real advantage left. #LuxuryBranding #BrandStrategy #AIinFashion #BrandIdentity #Marketing #BrnadStorytelling #DigitalMarketing #ModumInsights

Two years of decline. Seven straight quarters where LVMH's biggest profit engine, fashion and leather goods, just kept shrinking. Then Jonathan Anderson happened. His first full season at Christian Dior Couture didn't just generate buzz. It generated growth: double-digit gains from American and Japanese shoppers, leather goods leading the charge, and a single bag, the Cigale, becoming shorthand for a house finding its footing again. This isn't really a story about one good quarter. It's a test of a much bigger bet: that in a slowing luxury market, when consumers are pulling back and shifting spend toward experiences over things, creative reinvention might be the fastest lever left to pull. #LVMH #Dior #JonathanAnderson #LuxuryFashion #BrandStrategy #IndustryNews #ModumInsights

London Fashion Week 2026 isn't just a comeback story — it's a strategy. McQueen is returning to the city that made Alexander McQueen, with Seán McGirr presenting his London debut for the house. Mulberry England is being reborn under Christopher Kane. Heritage names like Burberry, ERDEM, and Simone Rocha are back on the schedule, standing alongside a new generation of designers still finding their voice. But look closer, and the real story isn't just who's showing up, it's what they're doing once they're there. Centuries-old British craftsmanship is being reworked, not just preserved: traditional tailoring pushed into bold new shapes, folklore woven into modern silhouettes, zero-waste techniques built on old construction methods. It's heritage as raw material, not nostalgia. #LondonFashionWeek2026 #BritishFashion #FashionIndustry #LuxuryStrategy #BritishCraftsmanship

A quiet shift is redefining summer hospitality. The season's most sought-after addresses are no longer designed in isolation, they are being co-authored by the world's leading fashion houses. Christian Dior Couture has taken to the rails, reimagining a journey through the Scottish Highlands as a four-day wellness retreat. JACQUEMUS has claimed Monaco's Monte-Carlo Beach Club in its signature yellow. And Missoni's famous zigzag now defines two of the Mediterranean's most storied resorts. Amid predictions that Europe's summer appeal was fading under the weight of its own popularity, the data tells a different story, one of continued, discerning demand. The destination has not lost its hold. It has simply become more selective about where, and how, it is experienced. #Dior #Jacquemus #Missoni #LuxuryTravel #EuroSummer #HauteHospitality #DesignerCollaboration #LuxuryHotels #ArtDeVivre #LuxuryLifestyle #ModumInsights

Daniel Roseberry opened Paris Haute Couture Week's Fall/Winter 2026-27 season with "The Abyss," trading last season's celestial Sistine Chapel references for a darker, underwater world of molded silicone, latex, and sea-inspired sculpture. As the very first show of the week, SCHIAPARELLI set the tone for everything that followed, and doubled as a quiet statement about the value of the hand in an increasingly AI-saturated design world. #Schiaparelli #DanielRoseberry #HauteCouture #ParisCoutureWeek #TheAbyss #FallWinter2026 #LuxuryFashion #ModumInsights

Five days. Two continents. Two takeover bids. Frasers Group launched a €2 billion offer for HUGO BOSS and an AUD 316 million bid for Accent Group Limited within the same week. Neither move came out of nowhere. Frasers already held significant stakes in both. What changed is the ambition. They are no longer content as a shareholder. They want the wheel. Read our full thoughts on what this means for the industry and the leaders inside these organisations in the article below. #FrasersGroup #HugoBoss #AccentGroup #FashionRetail #RetailNews #MergersAndAcquisitions #FashionBusiness #RetailStrategy #ModumInsights
