KEYSIGMA is a specialist cyber security consultancy and certification body based in Cheltenham. We help organisations strengthen their security, achieve recognised certifications and demonstrate trust with sensitive information, critical systems and supply-chain responsibilities. Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification sit at the heart of what we do. We combine formal certification expertise with practical support, helping organisations understand the requirements, resolve gaps and implement the controls needed to achieve and maintain certification. We are also a Defence Cyber Certification Level 3 Certification Body. We support organisations in implementing the controls required by the standard and provide independent certification assessments. We had a great session today with Peter Hanson from Eclectic Consulting Ltd, who took us through the Armed Forces Covenant and what it means in practice for KEYSIGMA. There’s lots of information available on government websites, but what was particularly valuable was Peter Hanson helping us translate that guidance into something right-sized, practical and meaningful within our existing management systems. It was also really helpful to have the perspective of someone who is a Service leaver himself, bringing genuine experience alongside the technical knowledge. We’re now targeting Silver under the Employer Recognition Scheme and have a much clearer understanding of what we need to do to get there. Great to have Westie join us as a special guest at yesterday’s KEYSIGMA wellness session.
Westy had another busy day attending the Senior Leadership Team meeting. He listened carefully and suggested a new company policy: more treats! Then it was off to a PT session organised by KeySigma, which our team join in with, and he gave 100%... of course he excelled at the recovery cuddles. 🐾 On Monday Westy will be hoping to find his forever home at our Quiz Night, where he'll be waiting to be won in the raffle. A huge thank you to Helen Westendorp at Treehouse whose generous donation started Westy's journey.
