Earlier this year at #Climb26, our co-founder Guy Remond sat down with two other investors to tackle a big question: how do you raise money in the age of AI? It’s a question that’s only becoming more relevant as AI changes how founders find investors, shape their pitch, and prove what makes their business worth backing. A really interesting read on how AI is changing what investors expect from founders 👇 https://lnkd.in/eaFPBzDf

We don't need more proof that Britain can build great AI companies. We've already got it. What we need is more of those companies reaching Series A, Series B and beyond without feeling they have to move abroad or sell early to fulfil their potential. That's the challenge. Guy Remond shares why he believes this should be one of the real measures of the UK's AI strategy in his latest BusinessCloud article. 👇 https://lnkd.in/ervucgT4

Our first tranche backed eight early-stage British businesses. Now, we’re raising the next. The second capital raise for the EHE Ventures (S)EIS AI Growth Fund* is underway, with a further £1.5m intended to back AI-native businesses at pre-seed, seed and Series A. We aim to deploy the capital by the end of the tax year. Read the full announcement and learn more about the fund: https://lnkd.in/erf6zpjW *The fund is not open to public investment and is available only to investors who meet the relevant regulatory criteria. Capital invested in early-stage companies is at risk, and tax treatment depends on individual circumstances. EHE Ventures Limited is an Appointed Representative of Infinity Asset Management LLP which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

The UK has made one of its strongest signals yet that AI will play a central role in government. It's a promising move. The real opportunity now is making sure it leads to more AI businesses being built and scaled in the UK. In his latest BusinessCloud opinion piece, our co-founder, Guy Remond, shares his perspective on what the government's latest AI announcement could mean for founders, investors and the UK's wider AI ambitions. Two years ago, we set out to build a dedicated fund backing some of Britain’s most promising early-stage AI businesses. Since then, we’ve invested in eight companies: Deltabase, FOTENIX, Good With, NeuWave Technologies, PeppercornAI, Scooch, Spotlight Pathology and SUBJCT. They operate across medtech, fintech, marketing, agri-tech and marine tech, but they all have two things in common: technology built around a genuine market need and founders with deep knowledge of the problems they’re solving. Now, we’re calling out to more investors to join the EHE Ventures (S)EIS AI Growth Fund* and back more ambitious British AI businesses at pre-seed, seed and Series A. Have you seen the news? Yesterday’s big story… No, not about the new Prime Minister. Our raise. We’ve opened the second £1.5m capital raise for the EHE Ventures (S)EIS AI Growth Fund*, backing Britain’s next generation of AI-native companies. Our first cohort was deployed across eight early-stage businesses working in medtech, fintech, marketing, agri-tech, marine tech and more. Now, we’re raising capital to support more ambitious AI-native companies through the early stages of growth. And it seems the news is spreading. Thank you to everyone who has covered the announcement so far. The heat certainly didn't stop the conversations! ☀️ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the pro-manchester x Bermans event, "AI is already becoming ubiquitous in business: but what does the future look like?" A special thank you to Jonathan Davage for bringing this event to life, and to Guy Remond and Troy Wood for sharing their insights during a fascinating fireside chat on the opportunities and challenges AI presents for businesses. Of course, thank you to Sister for being such fantastic hosts, and it was a pleasure working alongside Alice Pickersgill to make the event happen. It was great to see so many people come together to discuss how AI is shaping the future of business.
