AI training 🤝 paid work placements Two new schemes are launching in Barnsley to help local people benefit from AI, whether that's finding work, building confidence or developing practical skills. The AI Career Launchpad, delivered with Barnsley College, will offer residents of all ages six months of AI training alongside paid work placements to put their new skills into practice. A new pilot will also help jobseekers build confidence using AI to search for jobs, tailor CVs and prepare for interviews. Six months on from becoming the UK's first Tech Town, Barnsley is continuing to show how AI can create new opportunities for the local community.
