Last week was the Archives and Records Association Conference 2026. I spent the week catching up with old friends, making new ones and thinking about the work we do in the context of authenticity. They cherry on top of a fantastic week was being awarded Record Keeper of the Year 2026 at the ARA Awards ceremony. Made even more special by the fact that my friends, Aimy S., Dan Copley and Kevin Wilbraham were all also given awards for the fantastic work they have done and continue to do. I love the work I do and I love the fact that it's led to meeting and working with such fantastic people every day. Thank you to everyone who voted and congratulations to all nominees and award winners! We are a great sector and we should shout about the great work we do more!
