  • The conversation around power infrastructure is changing. 💡 For data centres and other critical facilities, the question is no longer just "Can we get power?" It's "Can we rely on it to perform exactly as required?" In our latest Powering Resilience newsletter, we examine why power quality, congestion and grid inertia now shape data center design, and how onsite generation builds resilience in layers. Read the latest insight and join the conversation. ⬇️ #DataCenters #EnergyTransition #CriticalInfrastructure Rehlko

Powering the AI era: meeting demand in constrained markets The rapid growth of AI and digital infrastructure is reshaping power demand across the United States. Data center developers are facing a common challenge: how to secure reliable, scalable capacity in markets where grid constraints, interconnection delays, and permitting pressures are increasingly limiting options. This is where pragmatic, deployable energy solutions are critical. At Rehlko's Clarke Energy business, we’re focused on delivering flexible, high-efficiency power generation and hybrid energy systems that can be deployed close to load, helping customers bridge capacity gaps and maintain performance in even the most constrained environments. We are looking forward to joining an outstanding panel of industry leaders at Bisnow’s Data Center Investment Conference & Expo (DICE): South to discuss exactly this issue: Joining Rehlko's Alex Marshall on stage: 🔹 Holly AdamsBeale Infrastructure 🔹 Charlie BeecherlWTG Energy 🔹 Dave BellVoltaGrid 🔹 Delvina UkaHydria Gas Technologies Moderated by Chrissy OlsenMPI Energy We’ll be sharing perspectives on how the industry can deliver near-term power while building resilient, future-ready infrastructure - from distributed generation and microgrids to hybrid configurations that integrate multiple technologies. As demand continues to accelerate, the ability to deploy power quickly, reliably, and at scale will be a defining factor for data center success. If you’re attending #DICESouth, We’d welcome the opportunity to connect - either at the event or afterward. See you in Dallas. Link to the event in the discussion.

📢 In case you missed the recent news from our Clarke Energy - Fr account, we're pleased to announce a contract with Capraci to deliver a 4MW trigeneration plant at its production facility in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The solution will simultaneously generate electricity, heat and cooling from a single fuel source, helping strengthen energy resilience, improve operational efficiency and support Capraci's long-term environmental objectives. Powered by INNIO Group Jenbacher gas engines, the project will recover waste heat to produce superheated water for pasta manufacturing processes, while an absorption chiller will provide on-site cooling. This integrated approach enables greater energy efficiency across the facility. We're committed to strengthening our role as a trusted partner for high-efficiency energy solutions across West Africa. As a Rehlko company, we're helping industrial businesses improve resilience, streamline production, reduce emissions and support their long-term sustainability objectives. Reliable power is the foundation of modern manufacturing. 💡🏗️ Clarke Energy’s team in Nigeria recently expanded the power plant at Nestlé’s Flowergate Factory in Sagamu, installing a new containerised Jenbacher J612 unit – the first of its type delivered in the country. The successful delivery of the project ensured that one of our long-standing repeat customers will secure future production growth and strengthen energy security. As a Rehlko business, this is another example of our commitment to providing customers with reliable energy solutions tailored to their operational requirements. • Is AI demand real? Investors keep asking, and the dot-com dark fibre comparison follows close behind: overbuilt capacity waiting years for demand to arrive. In Infrastructure Investor, Alex Marshall, Group Business Development and Marketing Director, at Rehlko's Clarke Energy business, argues this is the wrong question. Dark fibre had no alternative buyer. Dispatchable power does. The grid is short of firm capacity with or without AI, which changes the downside case for data centre power investment entirely. For the developers, operators, and investors we work with, the practical question is not whether the demand materialises. It is how to sequence power assets so they hold their value in every demand scenario. #datacenterpower #AIInfrastructure #onsitegeneration Read the full piece (subscription): https://lnkd.in/eU-ywzRU

  • AI has entered its reality phase but how fast can the power arrive, and what are we prepared to accept to get it sooner? ⚡ In this latest article, Alex Marshall explores why "speed to power" is becoming a defining factor in data centre development. With grid connection timelines often measured in years, operators are increasingly turning to fast, modular onsite power solutions to keep projects moving and capture demand when it arrives. Read the full article and join in the conversation. #Resilience #EnergyTransition #SpeedtoPower

The data center industry's biggest power challenge may be an illusion of choice. ⚡ For too long, the energy conversation around data centers has been framed as a binary decision: ➡️ Move quickly and risk locking into infrastructure that may not align with future sustainability expectations. ➡️ Wait for ideal energy solutions and risk missing critical deployment opportunities altogether. As AI demand continues to reshape the data center landscape, neither option feels particularly realistic. The real question isn't whether the industry can balance growth and sustainability. The real question is whether we're building infrastructure that can adapt as technologies, fuels, regulations and energy systems continue to evolve. The most valuable infrastructure may not be the infrastructure that delivers perfection on day one. It may be the infrastructure designed to evolve over the next 10–15 years, reducing stranded asset risk while supporting both immediate capacity needs and long-term sustainability ambitions. In this latest article, Rehlko explores how energy autonomy is helping to reshape the conversation around power, flexibility and the future of AI-driven infrastructure. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/evew42JC #RehlkoForDataCenters #EnergyTransition #PoweringImpact
