Continuing.....

Just a few days later in full pink raiment.......

together with the lovely Amelanchior with its frothy white flowers, accompanied by a rather boring and non flowering, street light.

And something different....a pot of 'Dutch Yard' Tulips, glowing with colour.

So much colour all of a sudden.

Cherry blossom....again!

This is what I wait for each year. As April begins, the first flowers start to open on my Cherry tree.

Within a few days it will be a mass of pinkness.
There's even a tiny branch flowering on the trunk.
And look at that blue sky!

Little bits of Spring

All of a sudden the flower beds are changing from empty spaces to spaces with little cushions of colour popping up.

The primroses are everywhere . pale yellow and pink.

.

There's white and purple aubrietia. Little furry buds of Pulsatilla
are beginning to open.

A group of Camassia is preparing to flower. I love their blue spires.

Grape hyacinths mingle with polyanthus. It's all a bit untidy, but I don't mind that

On the front step I have a bowl of mixed bulbs, grape hyacinths, narcissi and small tulips. You can tell that my colours are very much on the blue and cream spectrum!

It's all very cheering!

And I still can't comment.
