Update

It seems a long time since I did a post. Lack of energy has a lot to do with it.
But after three weeks  on antibiotics I am feeling better.
My husband is home from the Nursing home now and says that being home is the best.

He has now been classified as needing more Care at home and we now have two carers three times a day.
Getting used to this new regime is interesting.

We are fortunate to have that amount of care, as many agencies have been turning clients away due to the lack of staff.
Always cheerful, our carers treat my husband with dignity mixed with a bit of fun also. I love to hear them laughing together.

However, the job itself is not done for a reward as carers are notoriously poorly paid, which seems appalling when one considers the amount of responsibility they have.

I will be back with a more interesting post soon, maybe if the garden ever dries out and I can tell you what is happening there. We do have Snowdrops which give me enormous pleasure..

Many thanks to the lovely friends who have posted comments or sent messages asking how we are.
I do appreciate it.

Thank you

to my lovely friends who have prayed for me, sent me messages and just been there in spirit for me. We may never meet but I have felt your care from afar.
It's been a hard time and I am still on antibiotics as the infection hasn't quite left my lungs.
My darling husband has had to go into Nursing home care for a couple of weeks as I was not well enough to look after him.
But how blessed I am to have a family that cares. Daughter flew in from Canada for a week to help.
Son and two daughters in law, grand-daughter and friends have all visited my husband and made sure he was settled in.
What a start to the New year!
Things can only improve now, and I hope to be back on line in th near future.

Roses

Today's little joys. The scent drifts through my room. There are six different varieties in the vase. That little touch of acid green ...
