It was a great trip at a great price! We were lucky enough to have fresh snow upon our arrival, and Revelstoke Mountain is an amazing ski hill! It was somewhat crowded because our first ski day was the end of the Family Weekend holiday in Canada, and because Revelstoke had the deepest snow base in western Canada and was attracting people from other areas. It is also on both the Ikon Pass and the Mountain Collective Pass. Everyone has to take a gondola from the base area, with long lines in the mornings. Barbara's planning of in-room happy hours helped us meet the others on the trip. There was very good shuttle bus service to town and the mountain for those who needed it - and the base of the mountain is less than 15 minutes from the hotel. The town has some fine restaurants and pubs, and people enjoyed exploring. Barbara arranged a really wonderful group dinner on Thursday night, and everyone had a great time. The Sandman Hotel is a little tired and in need of renovation (our group's rooms were not among those already renovated). Thanks, Barbara, for a great trip!

I've wanted to return to Revelstoke for several years after one day there long ago and I'm glad I did. There was plenty of snow and the trip was well organized by Barbara McLean. My only complaint is that the hotel was substandard. The amount of space in the spartan room was tight for two people and the amenities were not great. . Also, it was a chilly outdoor trek from our room in one building to the hot tub in a different building. The shuttle service to the mountain worked well and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. The adjacent Denny's restaurant was better than I remembered Denny's. We took one day off from skiing and explored the town, including the Railway Museum, which I recommend. All in all a good trip and I'd do it all over again.

This was a bucket list trip for me and members of our group. The skiing was fantastic, accommodations adequate, good food and get-togethers. Will be sure to join future trips with the NWSCC, especially those in Canada in the powder highway. For USA based skiers, Canadian ski trips are a real value!

Planning for the trip was great. The Sandman Motel could have been maintained better.
